Day 8FridaySeward

Meet your Tour Director in Seward and explore the city before embarking on the Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise. Marvel at the park’s abundant wildlife and glaciers on this 100-mile, round-trip, fully narrated adventure with an included light lunch.

After your tour, Seward is yours to discover. You can find locals at Seward’s watering holes, where you can savor fresh Alaskan seafood. Overnight at Seward Windsong Lodge in accommodations with a deck.

Day 9SaturdayTalkeetna

In the morning enjoy an included breakfast before a scenic drive on your deluxe motor coach to Anchorage for an included group lunch. In Anchorage, visit the Alaska Native Heritage Center and learn about the state’s native cultures, then set off for the scenic
drive to Talkeetna.

On arrival, Talkeetna is yours to discover. Take in dramatic panoramic view flying above Denali on an optional flightseeing excursion. Overnight at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge in accommodations with a view.

Day 10SundayTalkeetna

For most of the day, Talkeetna is yours to discover. After an included breakfast take in dramatic panoramic views that only climbers otherwise see, flying above Denali on an optional land excursion. In the afternoon, enjoy an included lunch and a visit to Alaska Wild Harvest Birch Company, to discover the art of collecting birch sap from the local trees and the craft of transforming it into Alaska’s finest candies.

After your tour, Talkeetna is yours to discover. Overnight at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge in accommodations with a view.

Day 11MondayDenali

After an included breakfast craft your own unique Alaskan adventure or book an optional land excursion. In the afternoon, board the Wilderness Express glass domed railcar for a picturesque journey to Denali with an included lunch onboard.

On arrival, Denali is yours to explore. Overnight at the Grande Denali Lodge in accommodation with a view.

Day 12TuesdayFairbanks

After an included breakfast a local expert will introduce Denali National Park and its incredible taiga forests and rolling tundra in the “Welcome to Denali” reception, then spend the morning immersed in the beauty of Alaska’s natural landscape as you head deep into Denali National Park on the Tundra Wilderness Tour. Along the way, watch for the “big five”: caribou, moose, bear, gray wolves, and Dall sheep. In the afternoon, board the Wilderness Express glass domed railcar, for a picturesque journey to Fairbanks.

On arrival, Fairbanks is yours to enjoy. Overnight at Pike’s Waterfront Lodge in accommodation with a view, or a cabin.

Day 13WednesdayFairbanks

After an included breakfast enjoy a scenic cruise down the Chena River on the Riverboat Discovery sternwheeler, visiting an Athabascan Indian Village and a sled-dog camp. After an included lunch with your group you’ll explore Alaska’s gold mining history at Gold Dredge 8, a National Historical Monument, where you will see first-hand how the dredge worked the gold fields.

After your tour, Fairbanks is yours to enjoy. Overnight at Pike’s Waterfront Lodge in accommodation with a view, or a cabin.

Day 14ThursdayFairbanks

Your Tour Director will see that you are transferred to the Fairbanks airport for your flight home.
