Days 1-8Cruise

See the Celebrity Solstice – 7 Night Alaska Tracy Arm Fjord Cruise.

Day 8VIA Rail

Your adventure to the Canadian Rockies begins in lovely Seattle. Upon arrival at the pier, you’ll enjoy a complimentary scenic motor coach transfer from the Seattle cruise pier to downtown Vancouver, where you’ll transfer independently to the train station and check in your luggage. After, you’ll enjoy leisure time to explore downtown Vancouver. In the evening, you’ll board VIA Rail’s traditional “Canadian” train for your overnight journey to Jasper. As you make your way to Jasper, you’ll take in the stunning sights of Hell’s Gate (gorge), Suicide Rapids in the North Thompson Canyon, and the Cisco Tunnels above the Fraser River.

Please Note: Please pack an overnight bag including any special items or medications for the train portion of your tour, as you will not have access to your luggage once you board the train. The transfer from Seattle to Vancouver is an International border crossing. Guests are required to present their passport to Canadian border control.

Day 9Jasper

Arrival Savor a delicious breakfast and lunch aboard the train as you make your way to the resort town of Jasper. Breathtaking views await while riding through the Monashee and Cariboo mountain ranges before your reaching your destination – the perfect conclusion to your train journey.

Upon arrival at the Jasper train station, you’ll enjoy a complimentary motor coach or taxi transfer to your hotel for your overnight stay. Breakfast and lunch included.

Day 10Lake Louise

Your day begins with an exciting journey south along the famous Icefields Parkway, one of the most spectacular highways in North America. Drive through Jasper and Banff National Parks, stopping at the Columbia Icefield for a Brewster “Glacier Experience”. This unique excursion will place you on the 1,200-feet-thick icy slopes of the Athabasca Glacier aboard a specially-designed Brewster Ice Explorer. Venture to the middle of the glacier as your experienced guide explains how glaciers are formed and points out interesting geological features.

At the icefall below the glacial headwall, you’ll have the option of stepping out onto the ice, which was formed from snow that fell 400 years ago. After this unique ice adventure, you’ll enjoy free time at the Columbia Icefield Centre to relax over a buffet lunch and visit the new and expanded Parks Canada Interpretive Centre.

In the afternoon, continue to Lake Louise, the “Jewel of the Rockies”, where you’ll stay overnight.

Day 11Banff

Today, you’ll embark on an exciting tour of Lake Louise, one of the largest ski resorts in North America, and the surrounding areas. Visit Yoho National Park and experience some of nature’s most awe-inspiring wonders, including the Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake, and Natural Rock Bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River. After your tour, you’ll continue to the picturesque resort town of Banff, nestled in Alberta’s Rockies, for an overnight stay amidst the mountains.

Day 12Calgary

Begin your day with a scenic tour of Banff and its environs. You’ll ascend the Tunnel Mountain Drive to view Bow Falls and the hoodoos, followed by a visit to Lake Minnewanka and Two Jack Lake. After, you’ll enjoy sweeping views of the landscape aboard a gondola car as you make your way to the top of Sulphur Mountain.

Later, you’ll depart Banff and set off to Calgary, the largest city in the province of Alberta. Upon arrival, you’ll be dropped off at your downtown hotel, where you’ll enjoy leisure time to relax before your afternoon’s adventures, which include a visit to the Calgary Tower, the highest 360º observation deck in the world.

At the Tower, you’ll soak in spectacular panoramic views of the city and marvel at the sights below from the observatory’s remarkable glass floor, which looks straight down the side of the tower. After, you’ll head back to your hotel and enjoy an overnight stay in Calgary.

Day 13Calgary

Departure Bid farewell to Calgary before enjoying a complimentary taxi ride to the Calgary International Airport for your flight home, taking with you a lifetime of memories from your unforgettable experience in the Canadian Rockies.
