Days 1-8Cruise

7-night sailing from Vancouver to Seward.

Day 8FridayAnchorage

Board your deluxe motorcoach for a scenic drive to Anchorage, where you’ll enjoy lunch on your own before visiting the Alaskan Native Heritage Center to learn about Alaska’s native cultures.

From 3:30 p.m., Anchorage is yours to explore. Visit the Anchorage Museum boasting extensive collections of native art and artifacts, before exploring the “big apple” of the north, under the late-evening sun.

Day 9SaturdayTalkeetna

In the morning, set off on an exciting ride aboard the Wilderness Express, a glass-domed traincar, to Talkeetna.

From 11:00 a.m., Talkeetna is yours to discover. Located literally at the end of the road, Main Street provides a place where you can mill with the hippies, aviators, and adventurers who call the town home.

Day 10SundayDenali

Explore the nature trails that surround the lodge in the morning, before boarding the luxurious Wilderness Express to Denali.

From 3:30 p.m., Denali is yours to explore. Experience Denali’s overpowering magnificence on a range of optional activities, from bush pilots taking you up into the skies, to leisurely hikes on quiet trails.

Day 11Monday Denali

In the morning, you’ll venture deep into the impressive Denali National Park on the Tundra Wilderness Tour. Explore the area’s lush landscape while searching for Alaska’s wildlife.

After your tour, Denali is yours to discover, with the hinterland open to bike, off-road, or hike.

Day 12TuesdayFairbanks

Spend the morning exploring Denali on your own, or consult with your Tour Director to book an optional land excursion. In the afternoon, board the Wilderness Express for a scenic journey to “Alaska’s golden heart,” the historic city of Fairbanks.

From 8:00 p.m., Fairbanks is yours to explore. Discover the city’s gold rush roots and hardy locals on a midnight sun stroll, or consult with your Tour Director to book an optional land excursion.

Day 13WednesdayFairbanks

After breakfast, explore Fairbanks’s natural sites and historic landmarks. Take in the beautiful landscapes cruising down the Chena River on the Riverboat Discovery Sternwheeler and visit the Museum of the North.

From 5:30 p.m., Fairbanks is yours to explore. Enjoy an optional, all-you-can-eat Alaskan-style meal before a musical comedy about the gold rush and founding of Fairbanks.

Day 14ThursdayFairbanks

Your Tour Directors will see that you are transferred to the Fairbanks airport for your flight home.
